You can make your favourite bread in no time, because there is no need to prepare fresh sourdough. In addition to wholemeal bread, the dough can also be used for other types of bread, pastries or pizza dough. The result: fresh and aromatic bread with a special taste!

Dr.Oetker’s dry rye sourdough is used together with one sachet of Dr.Oetker’s 7gr yeast and 500 g of flour.

For your convenience the product is supplied in handy 15g sachets.

Recipe for dry sourdough bread

Ingredients: 200g rye flour, 300g white wheat flour, 1 teaspoon sugar, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 sachet (7g) dry yeast, 1 sachet Dr.Oetker dry sourdough , 1 teaspoon carraway seeds, 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander, 1 sachet Dr.Oetker caramel sugar, 400ml lukewarm water, 2 tablespoons oil.

Preparation:

1. In a mixer bowl add the dry ingredients, mix with a spoon. Add the water and the oil and mix using the dough hook for 4 minutes.

2. Cover the bowl and place it in a warm area. Let the dough proof for 40 minutes.

3. Oil a loaf pan and sprinkle some flour (the rye dough is stickier), place the dough in the pan and let it proof for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven at 200 degrees C and bake for 50-55 minutes

We work normal hours, Monday to Friday. Orders received over the weekend, will be packed on Saturday or Sunday & will be dispatched on Monday. If there is a delay in delivery first contact your local post office & please inform us by message.
